Destination: Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba National Park

DAY 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG – CAT BA ISLAND – LAN HA BAY

07h00: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi then drive to Hai Phong City by freeway N05 through the Red River Delta.

10h00: Arrive in Hai Phong City, take the speed boat to Cat Ba Island.

12h00: Get on a traditional wooden junk, welcome drink, check in and have a short briefing about your cruise.

13h00: Lunch is served while the cruise is slowly getting off the classic cruising routes, keep admiring the amazing kasts with different formations on the way. Limestone rock formations will parade around us for about 1 hour before the first stop.

14h00:  Go kayaking around Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba National Park for visiting local fish farm, less-seen beaches and lagoon. You will paddle through the beautiful scenery of the bay and if the tide permits, you will be able to paddle right into Dark and Bright Cave.

After a half hour kayaking, return to the boat. Time for some activities such as snorkeling, swimming, fishing or just sunbathing…Relax on the sundeck, enjoy fruits and drinks.

19h00: Dinner at the restaurant. Surprising evening with friendly party, night squid fishing, relaxing and music enjoyment.

Overnight on board.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – CAT BA ISLAND

7h00: Light breakfast with coffee and fruits, enjoy the calm and fresh morning in the middle of the nature.

Then boat is sailing to Three Tunnels Lagoon where you can do kayaking.

10h00: Return to the boat to freshen up and finish packing.

11h00: Have lunch on Three Peaches Island which is famous for crystal waters and natural beaches.

12h00: Come back the habour and the car takes you to Cat Ba Ecolodge .

13h00:  Arrive and free time for relaxing at the Lodge. Overnight at Cat Ba Ecolodge.

DAY 3: CAT BA ISLAND – HANOI

08h30: After breakfast, pick up and transfer to Cat Ba National Park for half-day hiking to Ngu Lam Peak where you will have a panoramic view over the whole island and its biosphere reserve. Along the hiking day, you will visit Hang Quan Y (known as Army Hospital Cave).

Back to the hotel for lunch and then transfer back to Hanoi.
